Background

I fell in love with healthcare at a very young age after joining my local fire department my senior year of high school. I spent 25 years working as a Paramedic and Flight Paramedic before returning to nursing school in 2011 to advance into a bedside and Flight Nurse role. A few years later, I began pursuing my Family Nurse Practitioner degree. I truly enjoy caring for patients and giving back to my community.

Life & Hobbies

I live in Bakersville, NC with my wife Jennifer of 25 years and our two daughters, Abby and Emma. We also have two dogs, Tucker and Fester. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and hunting and fishing whenever I can. Fun fact about me: I serve as a Pastor at Black Mountain Baptist Church in Little Switzerland, NC!
