The Short Answer: In 2027, Hopscotch Primary Care accepts Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans from Blue Cross NC, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and Alignment Health at all 12 of our clinics across Western North Carolina. Networks can change each year, so always confirm that Hopscotch is in your plan's network before you enroll.
A network is the group of doctors, hospitals, and other providers that a Medicare Advantage plan works with. When a provider is in-network, you usually pay less to see them. Some plans, especially HMOs, only cover care from in-network providers except in emergencies.
With Original Medicare, you can see any doctor who accepts Medicare, including Hopscotch. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, check that Hopscotch is in your plan’s network before enrolling. The right plan depends on your health and coverage needs.
Before you enroll in or switch plans during Annual Enrollment (October 15 to December 7), take a few minutes to confirm your doctors are covered:
If your current or future plan is not listed, we unfortunately may not be able to see you under that plan. We currently accept D-SNPs from Blue Cross NC, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and Alignment Health at all 12 of our clinics across Western North Carolina.
Can I keep my Hopscotch doctor if I change Medicare plans?
